The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Hire Desk / Transport Coordinator for our depot in Ashbourne. Ideally you will have a proven track record as a Hire Desk controller in a plant or powered access environment, with the ability to work under pressure in a highly competitive business. You need to be a team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to the highest level of customer service and safety.
Dealing with customer enquiries quickly & efficiently Convert hire enquiries to ensure achievement of depot revenue targets Upselling our other products & service Log quotes & update customer data through CRM system Using the in-house hire system to generate hire contracts Follow off hire procedure for returned fleet Tracking short term hires Take and log card payments Keep hire board up-to-date and accurate File customer contracts and other paperwork from the system Liaise with other hire desks, damage coordinator and head office as needed Work closely with Sales Team to build on networking and provide administrative support as required Liaise with transport/logistics as required Liaise with Service Engineers & Technical Support as needed Checking invoice runs & Invoice queries resolution Report Daily Metrics to Head Office Monthly stock check Keeping product knowledge up to date Ensuring customers service and customers expectation are met and exceeded Attend Depot Huddle & represent Hire Desk at High 5 meetings
The Person
Will have experience within the hire industry Strong PC skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly Good knowledge of transport and haulage Highly organised and able to multi-task Positive and flexible attitude to work An interest in machinery Excellent telephone manner 100% Fluency in English essential (written, spoken and comprehension) Excellent Team Player
