The Role

The role of this job is to seek out and report opportunities within Scotland and North East England for Spider, Truckmount, Self Drive and core machines and provide Hire Desk cover as required.

Work 5 days per week – Monday to Friday
Working Hours 8am to 5.30pm
6 month contract initially with a view to permanency

 

Duties

Make outbound telephone calls from a generated list to existing customers that have not used our services recently
Research and identify potential customers that may have a requirement for our machinery
Up-date CRM and allocate tasks to Sales team
Post out marketing material to customers (Black/Blue/Yellow Books)
Provide back up support to Hire Desk and cover during holidays or absence
Provide general admin service to ensure the depot runs smoothly and is compliant

The Person

A relevant 3rd level education in either business or marketing
An ability to learn about our machinery quickly
Able to work on your own initiative
Organised and able to plan out your time
Not afraid to make outbound telephone calls
Able to find the right person to speak to and get and pass information to them
Able to "think outside of the box" to seek opportunities
Excellent PC skills (MS Word/Excel)
Positive and flexible work attitude
Excellent Communication skills
Able to work under pressure
Highly organised with a high attention to detail
