Height for Hire is Highly Commended at NISO Awards

Height for Hire was delighted to be Highly Commended at NISO’s 26th Annual Occupational Safety Awards held in the Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa in Galway on Friday 13th October.

Operations Director Frances Mc Ardle was on hand to collect the award on behalf of Height for Hire, which is given to organisations who demonstrate the existence of a health and safety management system that has been tailored to the needs of the organisation and have provided substantial documentary evidence of a proactive system for continuous review and improvement.

Harry Galvin, NISO President, along with John Thompson, Incoming NISG chair, and Seán Kyne T.D., Minister for Rural Affairs and Natural Resources, presented awards to over 100 organisations from all around the island of Ireland.

Speaking about the award, Frances said: "It was great for Height for Hire to have our health and safety systems recognised, and to share the night with so many of our customers, who also received awards. This award is an acknowledgement to the great work done by our teams behind the scenes, who help make it happen every day, rolling out a quality service to allow all our customers to work safely at height.

The Annual Occupational Safety Awards, run in conjunction with Northern Ireland Safety Group (NISG), recognise how organisations manage health and safety at work. The many entrants that participate in the Awards, including large numbers of repeat entrants, is testament to the quality of the process, the high regard that the awards command and the value it brings.
